Welcome to Meet Yourself Here - a (new) gentle monthly invitation for you to pause and be with yourself in this moment, in beautiful, self-reflective and soulful ways. Sometimes a guided meditation, sometimes a simple ritual, sometimes a journaling process, a self-coaching tool or an experiment. Always looking through a seasonal lens, with a voice note to walk you in and the invitation to continue the conversation, share your thoughts and have access to me to ask questions in the comments.
Meet Yourself Here in May
I step out of the door to the bursting lushness of our lane in May and I feel the same as I always do this time of year. There’s a humming vibration of possibility and all-the-things-I-want-to-do right alongside the deep desire to lay down in a meadow and drift off into cloud-like slumber.
I want both.
I want to go off on all the adventures, see all the people, grow all the things in my garden, harness these lighter brighter days for the house renovation plans and gear-shifting desires I currently have and I also want to slow down, soak up the verdant green, linger amongst the wildflowers and let the sun warm my resting bones.
If I’m not careful the upward, outward energy of the lighter season can run away with me and I lose touch with how I’m doing, with what I need here.
In order to have the late Spring/Summer season I’d love for myself, rather than the one I just get swept up in, I need to really listen to myself and get intentional.
So this invitation to Meet Yourself Here, is in two parts. First, journal prompts to help you deeply listen within and draw together some intentions which help bridge the gap between how you’re feeling in yourself now and how you long to feel. Then a playful ritual to sow your seeds of intention.
You’re invited to do this simply and imperfectly. Or feel free to go to town making it into a full sacred ritual experience.
